My husband can’t perform well, does not last a minute in bed, wife tells court
Vanguard News:
Lagos – An Igando Customary Court in Lagos on Tuesday dissolved a nine-year-old marriage over husband’s poor sexual performance.
The President of the court, Mr Hakeem Oyekan, said he was convinced that the couple could no longer live together as the wife had insisted on divorce after several interventions.
The petitioner, Mrs Ifeanyi Samuel, 33, a businesswoman, had instituted a suit seeking the dissolution of her marriage to Moses, on grounds of unsatisfactory sexual performance.
“My husband cannot perform well, he is not doing his `job’ at all and it makes me sad.
“My husband does not satisfy me, he does not last a minute on bed,” she said.
The petitioner said that she forced her husband to go to the hospital to confirm what was wrong with him and it was discovered that he had low sperm count.
“My husband has low sperm count. I bought the drugs prescribed by the doctor for him, but he refused to use them.
“His refusal to take the drugs had resulted in fighting because I need a child. We have been married for nine years without any issue,’’ she said.
However, the respondent, Samuel, 40, a businessman, accepted that he had low sperm count and that he believed God for a miracle.
“I am trying my best to satisfy my wife and I am also trusting God for a miracle.”
He accused her estranged wife of having extra-marital affairs, saying that men always called her at odd hours.
“My wife has been committing adultery, there was a day I saw a text message she sent to her lover.

Lagos NURTW Injects 100 Buses to BRT
The Chairman, Lagos State branch of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede, said the union had injected nearly 100 new buses to Bus Rapid Transport on Lagos roads, to ease transport difficulties
Agbede told the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Lagos that the NURTW buses were injected to face out buses that were worn out from all BRT routes.
He added, “We have pushed out almost 100 buses to reduce passengers’ traffic caused by less number of buses and those that are not in good condition and we are still expecting more.
“All the buses that are not in good condition are going to be phased out gradually.
“We cannot just remove every bus that is not in good condition out of the road.
“Removal of rickety buses at once will cause passengers’ traffic and reduce movement of people using the BRT buses.
“Rickety buses will be taken for repairs and put back to work to complement the number of buses available for passengers’ use.
“NURTW is committed to serving the people of Lagos State to their convenience.”
Segun Muibi, a passenger at Mile 12, said most of the BRT buses were rickety and needed to be changed.
He commended the Lagos State Government for repairing the dilapidated BRT roads.

Jodi Stewart Henriques, a model married to rapper Sean Paul, has been living next door to Bolt on the upmarket Norbrook Terrace for the past two years and has just about had enough of his all-night bashes.
"Between the bikes, loud, horrid music, parties and screams, I honestly wish he would go back to where he came from," she wrote on Facebook last week. "He's a horrible neighbour. He takes his nasty behaviour with him everywhere. He's the ultimate party clown."

'Nigeria Vs Chad Will Cost Us N120M'- NFF
Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, has confirmed that they will be spending about N120M in the uncoming game against Chad. However, it appears the body is not pleased with the number of foreign based players invited by the coaching crew. The Keshi-led crew has mentioned names of 15 foreign based players to play against a lowly-rated Chad.
A top NFF chief informed SportingLife journalist that: “We are stuck with the coaches’ selection becaus it is our first game and we want to approve what they asked for wholesale. But we told them categorically that it amounted to waste of money for NFF to sepnd N120 million for a home game against Chad.
“It would beat hollow to hear what the players who ought to be on vacation now are demanding to play for Nigeria. Indeed, the president was livid over the large number of foreign-based players and told the coaches. In fact, the president was particularly surprised by the fact that the body’s director of technical department didn’t do his job by expunging benchwarmers such as Kenneth Omeruo, Godfrey Oboabona, for instance.
“The president ( Amaju Pinnick-shown above) expressed surprised at the inclusion of Vincent Enyeama, following the superb showing of the home-based goalkeepers in the friendly games that the team have played since Enyeama opted out of the South Africa away game due to controversial backache, only to play for his French side in the following weekend.”

8 Tanzanians Arrested For Cutting Off Albino's Hands. Sale Of Body Parts On The Rise
The victim, 30-year-old mother-of-four Remi Luchoma (not the one in picture above, that is another Tanzanian who suffered similar fate), was attacked in May and is still undergoing treatment in hospital, said state attorney Hongera Fimbo.
The attack occurred even after authorities in the East African nation launched a nationwide crackdown on witchdoctors, traditional healers and soothsayers.
In March, President Jakaya Kikwete said attacks against people with albinism, whose body parts are used for witchcraft and lucky charms, were "disgusting and a big embarrassment for the nation".
At least 76 albinos have been murdered since 2000 with their dismembered body parts selling for around $600 and entire bodies fetching $75 000, according to United Nations experts.
Dozens more have survived having parts of their bodies hacked off while still alive.
