Ghanaian Actress That Ended Her 4-Days-Old Marriage Escaped Death

Do y'all remember the story of a Ghanaian actress who got divorced just four days into her marriage? (read it here if you missed it)
The story coming out of Ghana has it that she narrowly missed death after the divorce. Rose Mensah, known in showbiz as Akua Ataa Kyeiwaa, was on her way to see a friend at Santasi Roundabout in Kumasi when she was nearly hit by a car.



Another friend of hers, Eugene Moratt, narrates what happened: “Kyeiwaa, while crossing the road, was absent-minded so the drivers tooted their horns on her several times and she had to be alerted of the impending danger. God saved her,” he said.

When contacted, Kyeiwaa confirmed the divorce. “I have given back his drink to him and he has accepted it because I can’t afford to be a second wife. I prefer to remain single to doing that,”
