Upon being announced as winner following voting results being collated by Alexander Forbes, K-Peace’s mother, wife and daughter were exhilarated. His mother, Funmilayo, overwhelmed with gratitude, muttered repeatedly, “Thank you Jesus.”
An ecstatic K-Peace who shed tears of joy said that he was shocked at being crowned the winner of the competition.
“I am overwhelmed getting to this stage today because I faced tougher and amazing talents, especially Dolu,” he said. “I thank the sponsors of this competition for giving me the opportunity to pursue my dream.”
The show’s first runner-up, Dolu received a cash prize of N1.5 million and a brand new Hyundai car, while the second runner-up Nex2 got N1 million.
