Can this happen in Nigeria? If it happens, all other unions will head straight to court.

A Kenyan court has ordered the Kenyan government to increase the salaries of the country's teachers by 50-60%.  The order is to take effect from 1 July 2015.

Judge Nderi said he was optimistic that the decision would end the regular teachers’ strikes and bring order between TSC and the unions.
The leadership of the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) lauded the labour court for the ruling.
