Diego Maradona Sets To Contest For FIFA Presidency

Diego Maradona's friend, Victor Hugo Morales, has revealed the intention of the 'hand-of-God' man to replace Sepp Blatter.

Morales, a journalist from Uruguay, claimed that he has Maradona's permit to make his intention known.

 “He told me he was going to run for president of Fifa and authorised me to inform,” Morales’s first tweet translated to, before adding: “‘I am a candidate’ were the two words Diego Maradona used to answer me when I consulted him about the nomination for the presidency of Fifa.”

Brazil's former international, Zico, has also shown interest to replace Blatter.
