Ikeja Will Be In Blackout For 4 Days In September- Ikeja Electric

Ikeja Electric has notified the general public of its intention to shot down power supply in Alausa, Ikeja Shopping Mall, Allen Avenue, Ogundana, Alade, Aromire and other areas in Ikeja.

The shot down is expected to start from September 2nd to September 5th.

According to Mr. Pekun Adeyanju, who is the Head of Communication Strategy of the

company, “The power interruption is to enable the company to carry out replacement and upgrade of the equipment” at its Alausa injection substation with the aim of achieving better power supply services to the areas.

He said, “All efforts will be made to restore power on September 6, 2015.

“Ikeja Electric appeals to the affected communities and thank you for your understanding and cooperation whilst we carry out the work”
