According to Daily Guide Ghana, Elizabeth lives with the unidentified man who is a galamsey (illegal mining) operator. She left to visit her mother for sometime. Upon her return, she found another lady (Monica) on her boyfriend's bed sleeping. She gently got a container full of fuel , poured it on Monica and set her on fire.
Monica's shout for help got the neighbours to the scene. Upon hearing what had happened, the neighbours beat Elizabeth to pulp (that's her above). She was beaten until she became unconscious.
Police later arrived to rescue her but it was too late as she later died in the hospital.
