Nigeria Needs N108 Billion To Revive Mathematics-DG NMC

The Director-General of National Mathematics Centre, Prof. Adewale Solarin, at the national olympiads awards ceremony in Abuja lamented the poor state of Mathematics in Nigerian Secondary Schools.
According to him, Nigeria needs about N108 Billion to bring back the glorious days for Mathematics. N108 Billion? Very soon, English Language Teachers will say they need N150 Billions. The science teachers will probably need N200 Billions. Rubbish! The teachers better wake up to their responsibilities.
