Robbery Attack In Warri, A Policeman Shot Dead!

There was a robbery incident in Warri, Delta State today. A policeman was shot dead at the scene.

The officer was escorting two others who had gone to withdraw money from the bank when the robbers attacked, killing him alone.



According to an eyewitness identified as Chigozie Joshua, two of the robbers came out of their Toyota Corolla car and shot the policeman three times, before they removed the money from the car and escaped.

The eyewitness continues “I was hawking by the road side when three guys stopped the car which the policeman was in, then they shot the policeman three times in his chest”.

“They collected the money from the other passengers in the car and drove off. The other passengers in the car hurriedly carried the policeman to the hospital,”

The police command has already confirmed the incident, and promise to arrest the robbers soon. Nigeria is currently experiencing series of armed robbery in addition to kidnapping and terrorism.
